In every stage of this unruly opression
We couldn't oust the English royalty aggression
This the reason we've held our 55-person meeting
for this handwritten and signed Decleration of Independence

Those silly British brethren with their unjust taxation
unfair court trials and minimal food rations
We as a council have decided this is a political seperation
It's time to take the power back and rebuild this broken nation

We tried appealing to their strangest ideas of justices
But the problem with their government was just this:
Don't you know that your unwarrantable jurisdiction causes
inter-colony and anti-monarchy friction?

We, as the representatives of the United States,
We as a people, the friends, brothers, and our mates.
Came together to seperate ourselves from the British opression
This has gone on long enough and this Decleration is our own confession

As an indepedent country with laws, commerce, and honor
That British Royal Crown king will soon enough be a goner
As an independent state our livelihood will be much longer.

Guys, the time's running on the clock
These injustices we must block
